Bonnie Schneider appears as a meteorologist on CNN, HLN and other platforms. She is also the on-camera expert and executive producer of a TV special on the DIY NETWORK known as THE LAST HOUSE STANDING which debuted on March 30th in 2012. Bonnie's book EXTREME Winter was published by Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston Schneider worked as the three-day special assignment journalist who covered entertainment and lifestyle. She worked for WFOR-TV as a weather forecaster on weekends before joining WB56. She's had a number of reports and meteorology positions, including: News 12 Long Island, a 24-hour cable news TV network and WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While in New York City, she was a fill-in weatherman for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
